Apollo 12 Anniversary

November 14 is the anniversary of Apollo 12.

It commenced on November 14, 1969. The crew included Charles Conrad Jr., Dick Gordon and Alan Bean. Apollo 12 experienced several mysterious events.

-Thirty seconds after launch a lightning bolt hit the Saturn V rocket.
-Thirty seconds later, a second bolt hit. All power was lost for three minutes. The bolts of lightning could not be explained. For a few minutes there was a question as to whether Apollo 12 would abort.

-Just after launch reports came in from various observatories stating that there were two bright objects pacing the Saturn V. The astronauts told NASA they too had seen two UFOs following them.

-While in space the crew and mission control heard inexplicable sounds. The source could not be explained or located.

-On their return to Earth Apollo 12 reported seeing a UFO with a bright red pulsating light.

-A photograph (AS12-497319) shows what appears to be a large UFO hovering above one of the astronauts as he walked on the Moon.

-As the crew went about their work on the Moon, they saw a mysterious, semi-translucent object that was shaped like a pyramid, and radiated the colors of the rainbow. It was hovering just above the lunar surface.

No credible explanations were ever given for any of the mysterious sightings and unexplained noises that were linked to Apollo 12.
