Fearing the Question of Human Origins

“Unfortunately, there is a certain amount of fear among people when it comes to questioning our origins. There is fear of the unknown, and fear of what we may learn about ourselves. For the most part, people have been conditioned to live out their lives according to the teachings and the systems put in place. The world appears to simply shut down when new information comes out that is contrary to what people are accustomed to believing. However, it is this author’s opinion that for us to move forward, we need to investigate our past, understand who we are, where we came from, and move forward as a more knowledgeable and preferably advanced species in the universe. If not, we may be destined to become that apocalyptic planet that we see so much of in the movies.
